Russian forces attempt to infiltrate Ukrainian positions without direct combat — Ukrainian officer

 Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Serhiy Tsekhotskyi shared the information on Espreso TV.

“The enemy is constantly carrying out attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. They haven’t stopped, but in recent weeks we’ve seen more attempts to infiltrate our positions without engaging directly. They are specifically tasked to move in small groups toward Ukrainian UAV crews and artillery positions, then regroup,” Tsekhotskyi told Espreso TV. “This doesn’t happen in a single day — the occupiers can lie low for several days and then advance again.”

He added that Russian forces carefully prepare for such actions, using improved communications and delivering ammunition, water, and food with drones.

“They are learning too, but the skill of Ukrainian units has grown tenfold. We are improving to inflict more losses on the enemy, and our boys and girls are doing just that,” he said.

• On September 7, Ukraine’s General Staff reported 170 combat clashes since the start of September 6, with the Pokrovsk direction seeing the most activity.
