Russian troops intensify advances in Kupyansk and Pokrovsk directions - Ukraine's General Staff
Over the past day, there were 161 combat clashes on the frontline. Ukrainian are repelling attacks by Russian forces, with most occurring in the Pokrovsk sector

According to updated information, Russian forces launched six missile attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements, firing a total of 21 missiles. The occupying army conducted 41 air strikes, including 76 drone attacks, and carried out over 4,000 attacks in total, with 91 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and more than 1,500 strikes from kamikaze drones.
During the same period, Ukraine's Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted 17 areas of Russian personnel concentration, two air defense facilities, an artillery facility, five ammunition depots, an electronic warfare station, a radar station, a UAV ground control station, and the Russian command center.
Russian troops suffered total losses of 1,270 personnel over the past day. Additionally, Russia lost 10 tanks, 15 armored combat vehicles, 61 artillery systems, two MLRS, two air defense systems, 50 OTR UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), 13 missiles, 44 vehicles, and eight pieces of special equipment.
81 combat clashes have occurred: current situation by sector
Russia continues active operations in multiple areas, attempting to breach the defense of Ukrainian troops. As of today, the Russian forces have made 81 attempts to advance.
Most of these attempts occurred along the defense lines of military units in the Kupyansk and Pokrovsk sectors. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are steadfastly repelling Russia's assault groups.
In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian defense lines eight times. Five such attacks continue in the area of Stelmakhivka, Synkivka, Berestove and Stepova Novoselivka. Ukrainian troops are effectively neutralizing the invading forces, Russian losses are being assessed.
In the Lyman sector, there have been a total of six combat clashes so far. Ukrainian troops are successfully repelling three Russian attacks near Makiivka and in the Serebryanka forest. The situation is currently under control.
There have been 12 combat engagements in the Pokrovsk sector, particularly in the areas of Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Vozdvyzhenka, and Sokil. In total, Russia has attempted to improve the tactical situation in the sector 36 times. Ukrainian defenders are giving a decisive rebuff to the invaders. The Russian troops supported their actions with two air strikes: today, bombs fell near Novooleksandrivka, and the invaders used unmanned aerial vehicles near Oleksandropil.
In the Kherson sector, Russia attempted once today to dislodge Ukrainian troops from the left bank of the Dnipro River, near Krynky. They also fired unguided aerial missiles at Ukrainian troops. Additionally, the Russian forces bombarded Olhivka, Ivanivka, and Burhunka with UAVs, dropping two bombs.
The situation in other areas is currently stable. Ukrainian soldiers are closely monitoring Russia's actions under strict fire control. The command is taking necessary measures to reinforce Ukrainian units in the most active areas.
