Russia uses all its resources to continue offensive, prevent Ukraine's army from seizing initiative

Russian troops are doing everything to continue their offensive in the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Avdiivka directions, so it is premature to conclude on slowing down their actions

Commander of the Ukrainian Land Forces Oleksandr Pavliuk said this during a telethon.

According to him, the Russian troops are advancing, albeit slowly. Currently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces do not have an advantage on the battlefield, as Russia has more resources.

"Unfortunately, it is too early to draw such conclusions. The offensive continues because Russia cannot afford to lose the advantage on the battlefield, and only slowing down their actions will give us the opportunity to seize the initiative. That is why they are doing everything possible and impossible, using all the resources at their disposal, to continue their offensive in the Lyman sector. They also continue their offensive in the Bakhmut sector and do not slow down in the Avdiivka sector," noted Pavliuk.

He noted that the occupation forces are not having as much success as they did when they attacked Avdiivka. The Russians are only demonstrating small tactical successes in one direction or another.

The Ukrainian defense forces are conducting offensive actions, regaining their positions and capturing Russian positions.

"It is still a positional war, and we cannot gain an advantage yet, unfortunately, the enemy has more resources. But everything has its time," the commander added.
