Russia may open new offensive direction in 2024 — 3rd Separate Artillery Brigade
Maksym Zhorin, deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, former commander of the Azov Regiment, major with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, suggested that this year Russia is likely to open a new active frontline
He shared the information on Espresso TV.
"I am sure that this year the Russians can accumulate enough personnel and equipment to try to open at least one more direction, besides Avdiivka. It will be an active, offensive direction, but we don't know which one. We can guess, taking into account the areas that are important to them and where there are places where they could try to start putting pressure. By the way, this list will include the border with Russia, which the Russians also consider as one of the areas for possible offensive actions," he said.
According to him, Russia is quite clear about its main efforts. At the moment Avdiivka is one of the main such areas.
"The occupiers will keep deploying reserves here until they decide that they have achieved their goal. It doesn't make much difference to them how many Russians die here," he added.
