Russia, India kick off joint military drills

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the drills are aimed at improving counterterrorism operations.
The Russian-Indian exercises Indra 2025 are being held at the Mahajan training ground in Rajasthan and will last until October 15.
“The main goal of the drills is honing the cohesion of both countries' units in the fight against terrorism, including the perfection of counter-terrorism operations' tactics,” the ministry said.
- Earlier reports indicated that India’s leading oil refinery, Indian Oil Corp (IOC.NS), has already made payments in Chinese currency for 2–3 shipments of Russian oil.
