Military journalist Andriy Tsaplienko reported the information.
Based on his information, extra air defense systems were even moved from other regions, including Kazan and Grozny.
Tsaplienko notes that Moscow's entire air defense is structured in several layers:
- The first layer is detection.
“For this purpose, the Don-2N radar station is used. Mobile radars like Nebo-M, Gamma-S1, and Kasta are also working around Moscow,” the journalist said.
- The second layer is for intercepting strategic threats.
- The third layer is long-range air defense.
"The S-400 systems cover approaches up to 400 km," Tsaplienko remarked.
- The fourth layer is for close combat.
"The Pantsir-S1 and Tor-M2 systems are not only stationed in the Moscow region but also in Moscow itself on building rooftops and mobile platforms," Tsaplienko shared.
- The FSB may be preparing staged terrorist attacks in several Russian regions during the May 9 parades, intending to blame Ukraine.
