124 combat clashes at frontline, Russian troops attack in 11 directions - Ukraine's General Staff

Over the past day, the occupying Russian army attacked the Ukrainian Forces' positions in 11 directions. There were 124 combat clashes at the frontline

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

According to the latest information, yesterday the Russian military conducted five missile attacks on Ukrainian positions and localities, deploying 18 missiles. Additionally, they carried out 65 air strikes using 107 combat aircraft and fired a total of 4,673 rounds, including 129 from MLRS.

Russian air strikes targeted 3 settlements in the Sumy region; 2 settlements in the Kharkiv region; 10 settlements in the Donetsk region; 2 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile troops, and artillery conducted nine strikes on Russian troop and weapons concentrations. These strikes resulted in the destruction of two command posts, three artillery systems, an ammunition depot, and three other significant military targets.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian troops continued their assault operations. There were five combat clashes near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were ten Russian attacks reported. Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled Russian assaults near Pishchane, Berestove, and in the direction of Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 21 assault attacks near Makiivka, Nevske, Novosadove, and in the Serebryanka forestry.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled eight attacks near Ivano-Darivka, Spirne, Verkhniokamianske and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops thwarted 11 attempts by Russian forces to breach Ukrainian defenses near Chasiv Yar, Kalynivka, and Ivanivske.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russians, with the support of aviation, carried out eight attacks. He concentrated his efforts in the vicinity of Zalizne, Druzhba and New York.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders countered 41 attacks. Russian forces concentrated their main efforts near Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Orlivka and Mykolaivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are successfully holding back Russian troops near Kostiantynivka. Russian forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses in this area six times.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian troops launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions in the direction of Vodiane and Rivne. They were not successful.

In the Orikhiv direction, four firefights occurred near Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka, all of which ended in failure for the Russian troops.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops incurred no losses of positions or territory. The Ukrainian military successfully repelled eight Russian attacks.

Near the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected. The operational situation has not changed significantly.

The Russian forces maintain a military presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, actively using aviation from Russian territory and shelling border settlements.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict significant losses in equipment and manpower on the occupying Russian forces, depleting the Russian offensive potential along the entire front line and in the rear.

  • Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,080 Russian soldiers and destroyed dozens of equipment units on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
