156 сombat clashes on frontline; 55 in Pokrovsk direction - Ukraine's General Staff

Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported the information as of 8:00 a.m.

According to the latest update, Russia launched two missile attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas with five missiles, conducted 77 airstrikes using 103 KABs, and carried out over 4,600 attacks, including 104 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian troops launched air strikes targeting1 settlement in the Sumy region; 7 settlements in the Kharkiv region; 29 settlements in the Donetsk region; 1 settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region; 3 settlements in the Kherson region.

Yesterday, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery conducted 18 strikes on Russian troop and weapons concentrations, and hit five command posts, two air defense systems, a communications center, three ammunition and fuel depots, as well as another important military facility.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, the number of attacks amounted to eight over the day. Ukrainian defense forces repelled Russian assaults near Tykhyi and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, eight combat clashes took place near Stepova Novoselivka, Kolesnykivka, Berestove, Stelmakhivka and Andriivka.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian troops attacked 14 times near Makiivka, Nevske and Novoserhiivka.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders rebuffed four assault attacks by Russian troops near Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Darivka and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, 10 clashes took place near Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Bohdanivka and Andriivka.

In the Toretsk direction, 26 firefights took place near Pivnichne, Niu York, Toretsk and Zalizne.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops fought off 55 attacks near Vozdvyzhenka, Zhelanne, Serhiivka, Panteleimonivka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Lysychne, Tymofiivka, Karlivka, Kalynove and Hrodivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 13 attacks near Krasnohorivka, Zhelanne, Karlivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka. The Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian forces conducted 12 attacks near Velyka Novosilka and Vodiane.

In the Kherson direction, six Russian assaults on the left bank of the Dnipro failed.

The situation in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions remained unchanged.

On the Belarus border, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian forces maintain a military presence, conduct mortar and artillery shelling of settlements from Russian territory, and increase the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying Russian forces, depleting them along the entire frontline.

In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,370 people yesterday. Ukrainian troops also destroyed nine tanks, 42 armored combat vehicles, 33 artillery systems, one MLRS, 115 tactical UAVs, 77 vehicles and 16 units of special equipment.
