Israel's strike on Iran may cut off drone, missile supply to Russia — Ukrainian military
Israeli strike on Iran could lead to the cessation of supplies of Iranian drones and North Korean missiles to Russia
Ivan Tymochko, the head of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Land Forces, said this on Espreso TV.
"I'm interested in what Russia's reaction will be, because they are fundamentally, bravely silent right now. There is no reaction even from their speakers, not to mention officials. It seems that this caught them a little by surprise," Tymochko noted.
According to the head of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Land Forces, Israel destroyed the entire S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft defense system located in Iran, which Russia had previously transferred. This is a very interesting point.
"Putin is now faced with the question: will he continue to receive components for Shaheds from Iran? And if Iran is drawn into the war, it is clear that this will affect supplies. I believe that a strike on Iran may even affect supplies from North Korea.
If a serious blow is struck against Iran, and it looks like that is what will happen, then serious hot flashes are possible on the border between the DPRK and South Korea. It may happen that North Korea will start accumulating shells and missiles, and not transferring them to Russia," Tymochko emphasized.
The head of the Council of Reservists of the Ukrainian Land Forces added that Russia has now lost its strategic leadership in the world, and now the United States, as a deterrent leader, is gradually losing its role.
"Therefore, a kind of arms race is now beginning, in which each country will understand that security is the country's own business. It is very important that Israel has now decided on decisive actions against Iran. As we can see, the previous sanctions imposed against Iran did not allow it to develop technologically enough to effectively resist even a smaller country," Tymochko summarized.
At the beginning of June, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, at a meeting in Pyongyang with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu, said that the DPRK would continue to support Russia in the war against Ukraine.
North Korea, with the help of the Russian Federation, is developing a nuclear component - long-range missiles and underwater nuclear submarines.
