Ukrainian drone manufacturers adapt to changes on frontline
Oleksandr Dmitriev, Advisor to the Land Forces Commander on Unmanned Systems, notes Ukrainian drone manufacturers are swiftly adapting to front-line changes
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“The number of UAVs produced in Ukraine has indeed increased. The manufacturability of these products is increasing. I hope that more attention will be paid to quality indicators, because it is efficient. Because the enemy quickly adapts to our means. I would really like our manufacturers to be financed by partners. Ukraine is already a center for unmanned military systems. Because everything that can be tested quickly at the front can only be done in Ukraine, because we are fighting a great war,” Dmitriev said.
According to the Advisor to the Commander of the Land Forces on Unmanned Systems, Ukraine needs to have a greater technological advantage over the Russians and catch up with the enemy in terms of UAV numbers.
“Our manufacturers are quickly adapting to the changes at the front. Resources are being allocated for the production of drones. We need to have an even greater technological advantage over the enemy and catch up with the enemy in numbers. Because the Russians have more resources than we do. Therefore, our advantage can only be technological,” emphasized Dmitriev.
