Ukraine hits Novoshakhtinsk oil plant in Russia, strikes two more targets

Ukraine's General Staff confirmed the strike.
The Ukrainian military launched a series of strikes on Russian military targets. According to the General Staff, to reduce the offensive potential of Russian forces and disrupt fuel supplies, the Unmanned Systems Forces, together with other Defense Forces units, hit the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in Russia’s Rostov region.
“It is one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia and participates in supplying the Russian armed forces. The total volume of its storage tanks exceeds 210,000 cubic meters. Numerous explosions were recorded. The target has been hit,” the statement said.
Ukraine's Special Operations Forces units also struck a UAV depot and a logistics hub in temporarily occupied Donetsk. Ukrainian forces confirmed significant damage and multiple explosions. This operation aimed to reduce Russia’s long-range drone capabilities.
“Furthermore, a strike was recorded in the area of the Russian fuel and lubricants base in Russia’s Voronezh region. The results of the fire damage are being clarified,” the General Staff added.
Earlier, Governor of Voronezh region Alexander Gusev reported on Telegram that more than five drones were detected in one district in the southern part of Voronezh region.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
“Due to the drone strikes, an energy facility was damaged. Several villages are without electricity, and a number of passenger trains have been delayed,” Gusev said.
He added that emergency services are preparing to begin cleaning up the aftermath.
