Ukraine's intelligence chief explains what hinders Ukraine's and Russia's offensive operations

The head of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, says that the active use of drones hampers both Ukrainian and Russian offensive operations at the front

Budanov shared the information in an interview with Le Monde.

The intelligence chief noted that the intensive use of drones by both Ukraine and Russia has made it impossible to conduct offensive operations. In addition, the military is hampered by mined areas. Currently, the density of minefields exceeds that of the Second World War.

"We know a solution for drones - electronic countermeasures. Mines require specialized equipment," Budanov said.
