187 frontline clashes as Russian troops advance in Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in the morning update on November 12.

According to the updated information, yesterday Russians launched four missile strikes using four missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, along with 84 air strikes, and dropped 145 guided bombs. Additionally, Russian troops fired over 5,000 times on settlements and Ukrainian positions, including 107 from multiple rocket launch systems, and used about 1,500 kamikaze drones.

 Russian forces conducted airstrikes near 4 settlements in the Sumy region; 15 in the Donetsk region.

The General Staff added that yesterday, the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted two Russian artillery systems and struck six personnel and weapons concentrations.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk eight times. Russian troops dropped two guided bombs on the village of Kozacha Lopan.

In the Kupyansk sector, three Russian attacks were registered. Ukrainian defense forces repelled the Russian offensive near Kindrashivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kolisnykivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces used aviation actively, attacking the settlements of Zarichne, Lyman, and Yampilivka with guided bombs. In addition, they attacked Ukrainian positions ten times, trying to break through near the settlements of Hrekivka, Nevske, Terny, Novomykhailivka, and Serebrianka.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one attack near Vyimka. Russian forces conducted airstrikes near Zakitne, Dronivka, and Siversk.

Supported by aviation in the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops unsuccessfully attacked three times near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops carried out four attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 50 attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Hryhorivka, Kruty Yar, Petrivka, Pustynka, Ukrainka, and Lysivka. Russian forces mainly focused on the settlements of Selydove and Promin.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 57 attacks on positions near Illinka, Novoselydivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Katerynivka, Kreminna Balka, Sontsivka, Zorya, and Kurakhove.

In the Vremivka sector, Russia launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian positions, in some cases with the support of attack and bomber aircraft, near Trudove, Makarivka, Novodarivka, and Rivnopil.

Supported by aviation in the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces attacked near Novoandriivka once in the past day.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the invading Russian forces unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions. Additionally, they struck the villages of Odradokamianka and Vesele with unguided missiles.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is actively using artillery and aviation from its territory in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

• Yesterday, the Russian army lost 1,950 soldiers in Ukraine. The Ukrainian defense forces destroyed 23 Russian tanks and 81 armored vehicles.
