Ukraine's General Staff reports 162 combat clashes at frontline, majority in Pokrovsk, Kurakhove directions

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

According to updated information, Russian troops conducted two missile strikes (launching four missiles) on Ukrainian positions and settlements yesterday. They also carried out 67 air strikes involving 99 combat aircraft and fired a total of 5,587 times, including 167 launches from multiple launch rocket systems.

34 Ukrainian settlements were hit by air strikes.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted eight strikes on the concentrations of Russian personnel and weapons, two artillery systems, one air defense system and the command center.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, the invading Russian forces continued their assault operations. Seven combat clashes took place near Vovchansk and Tykhe.

In the Kupyansk direction, the number of combat clashes amounted to 16 Russian attacks. Ukrainian defense forces repelled assaults near Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Kruhliakivka, Lozova and Stelmakhivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops fought off 13 Russian troops' attacks near Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka, Cherneshchyna, Druzheliubivka, Novosadove and Dibrova.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces beat back two attacks near Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped 12 Russian forces' attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Kalynivka, Klishchiivka, Hryhorivka and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops, with the support of aviation, carried out 9 attacks. They concentrated their efforts near Dachne, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. In addition, they stormed near Nelipivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders rebuffed 35 attacks. The Russian troops concentrated their main efforts near Krasnyi Yar, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotoretsk, Hrodivka, Novohrodivka, Selidove, Marynivka, Myroliubivka and Mykhailivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back Russian troops near Hirnyk, Tsukuryne, Zhelannyi Druhyi, Heorhiivka, Katerynivka and Kostiantynivka. In total, Russian forces tried to break through the Ukrainian troops' defense in this area 28 times.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian troops launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vuhledar.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops laucnhed two unsuccessful combat clashes near Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian troops conducted one unsuccessful attack and were repulsed.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. According to available information, over the past day, Russia conducted 16 air strikes in the Kursk region using 27 guided aerial bombs.

No signs of Russian offensive groups were observed along the Belarusian border.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian forces maintain a military presence, intensified aviation activities, and fired from the territory of the Russian Federation at Brusky, Malushyne, Pavlivka, Zhuravka, Velyka Pysarivka, Boiaro-Lezhachi and a number of other border settlements.
