Hollywood director and producer Martin Scorsese supported Ukrainians and called on the world to donate to support Ukraine.
"My dear Ukrainians, fellow citizens of the world, my name is Martin Scorsese, and I am sending this message to simply say that you are not alone. We admire your courage, your perseverance, your resilience and your extraordinary, remarkable determination in the face of this barbarity, this unspeakable barbarity," Scorsese addressed the people of Ukraine.
He compared the strength of Ukraine's people's spirit in this struggle to the light.
"At this moment, your spirit, your strength of spirit is like a light, it’s a light of the world. And I pray it’s bright enough to guide you through this darkness," the prominent director said.
At the end of the video, there was a call to support Ukraine with donations through UNITED24.
