Martial law and general mobilization term extended in Ukraine
The Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has approved the laws on the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy decrees on the extension of martial law and general mobilization period in Ukraine

Ukraine's MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak reports this.
He noted that the Council approved Laws No. 8419 and No. 8420 on the martial law extension in Ukraine. 348 deputies and 344 deputies respectively voted for the laws.
The effect of martial law and general mobilization decrees will be extended for 90 days from February 19, 2023.
Zhelezniak added that these issues were not presented by the National Security Council Secretary. Voting took place immediately. The People's Deputy also noted that this was already the sixth time voting for martial law since the start of a full-scale war.

On February 6, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted draft laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada.
