Russian troops advance: map of hostilities
In the Donetsk region, Russians are trying to go offensive along the entire contact line.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russians tried to break through the Ukrainian defense in Pylypchatyne village between Popasna and Bakhmut. They failed and retreated.
However, the Russian forces tried to break into the north from Popasna to Severodonetsk but were stuck in Komyshuvakha, although before they captured Oleksandropillya. However, they suffered significant losses in Girske. Russians captured Novozvanivka south of Popasna. This breakthrough expanded the boundary for about 4.5 km.
In partially surrounded Severodonetsk, the active hostilities go to the northern (Voyevodivka and Borovenky), eastern (Oleksandrivka) and the southern suburbs. On the southern side, the Russian forces attacked from occupied Borivske, Voronove and Syrotyne settlements, but were repulsed.
Unable to break through the Ukrainian defense in Avdiyivka, Russian forces began to bypass it from east to north. They advanced 5-6 km to the area of Novoselivka Druha, Novobahmutivka and Novokalynove villages, where they received a fierce rebuff and were stopped with significant losses.
In the Kurakhivsky direction, supported by artillery fire and air, the Russian forces go offensive towards Novomyhaylivka and Maryinka, fighting continues.
In the Lyman direction, Russians began to attack Drobysheve and Stavky, the two last villages on the way to Lyman. If the Ukrainian forces retreat from Drobysheve, the Russian troops will get access to Lyman and Svyatohirsk. These are the last two Ukrainian outposts on the north bank of Siversky Donets in the Donetsk region. Heavy fighting is going south of Lyman for Dibrove and Ozerne villages, as well as for the crossing on the Zakitne outskirts. There Russians want to create a new base for forcing Siversky Donets, the replacement of which recently was laid between Serebryanka and Bilohorivka that is 20 km to the east. The rest of the Russian forces couldn’t capture Dovhenke village and decided to bypass it from the east, from Yaremivky through the forest to Bohorodychne.
In the northern Kharkiv region, the Russian forces used white phosphorus munitions. This may indicate that Russia didn’t stop the offensive on Kharkiv. They still keep the defense on the 15 sq km area through the Kozacha Lopan - Slatyne - Mali and Velyki Pryhody and wait for reinforcements.
Russia again tried to break through the state border near Seredyno-Buda area in the Sumy region. Fighting in the north Shostka district continues. There are fires along the border caused by shelling.
Missile attacks
Russia shelled a hospital in Severodonetsk and inflicted air strikes on Popasna. At least 10 people died.
As a result of the air strike on Desna village between Kyiv and Chernihiv 8 people were killed, another 12 were injured.
Five Russian missiles hit civilian objects in Okhtyrka and caused a lot of damage.
More than 70 explosions were recorded near the border in the Sumy region, Russians again fired from Russian territory towards Boyaro-Lezhachi.
Russian invaders carried out the airstrike on the enterprise on production of building materials ‘Knauf Ukraine’ in Soledar in the Bakhmut area.
A Russian missile hit a five-story building in Bakhmut, killing a man and seriously injuring a 9-year-old girl.
The Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on the Lviv region infrastructure facilities. Damaged railway infrastructure in Yavoriv district.
In Dnipro, the Ukrainian air defense shot down a missile that fell in the private house’s yard and injured a woman. The second missile hit the object of transport infrastructure.
The Russian troops launched another missile attack on Odesa from the Black Sea, there was no significant damage.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Counterattack Map
The Ukrainian forces destroyed the ammunition depots in the Izyum area and in Kherson.
The Ukrainian soldiers of the Special Operations Forces crossed Siversky Donets near Rubizhne and Stariy Saltiv and struck the Russian forces in the area between Losivka and Hontarivka villages. Northern, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lead pontoon bridges across Siversky Donets to go offensive on Vovchansk.
By Monday-Tuesday, the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 14 Russian UAVs, 5 cruise missiles and one Su-25.
Humanitarian corridors, evacuation and refugees: map and cities
Before the evacuation of the wounded, there were 66 camps, where 95,000 Mariupol residents were held. These are the ones that have been filtered. The fate of those who didn’t is unknown.
264 seriously injured soldiers were evacuated from the Azovstal basement. They were moved to occupied Novoazovsk and Olenivka. They have to be exchanged for Russian prisoners.
33 Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Vrubivka and Girske residents were rescued from under Russian shelling of the Luhansk region. Six of them were children.
