"Manifestation of desperation": Poland's Foreign Ministry comments on Russia's sanctions against Western defense companies

“This is an expression of the desperation of Russian foreign policy. After all, the sanctions applied by the EU and a number of other countries of the world already de facto exclude the possibility of any cooperation with the companies of the Russian Federation due to the war in Ukraine,” Mularczyk said.

Also, in his opinion, Russia's actions come as symbolic retaliation.

“I assume that this cooperation has not been functioning for a long time, since Russia's aggression in Ukraine. I perceive it as a certain gesture and symbolism without real meaning,” he added.
