Lukashenko is afraid of any armed Belarusians - Belarusian opposition government member Azarov
Belarusian dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko is afraid of any armed Belarusians. The task of the KGB has always been to prevent the opposition from creating armed resistance
Aleksandr Azarov, the head of the BYPOL Association of Security Forces and a member of the Belarusian Joint Transitional Cabinet, said this on Espreso TV.
"According to the results of the 2020 elections, the Lukashenko regime is supported by 17% of the population. This figure can be taken as a basis. Of course, Belarusians support all democratic forces that want to establish democracy in Belarus and remove the criminal regime from power," he said.
Among them, Belarusians also support the regiment of Kastuś Kalinoŭski, which fights as part of Ukraine's Armed Forces.
"Lukashenko is afraid of any armed Belarusians. The task of the KGB has always been to ensure that the opposition does not create armed resistance. All protests must be peaceful. Any Belarusian who does not support the government at home or abroad and takes up a machine gun is a great fear for the regime. I think that all of us will free Belarus from the usurper," Azarov concluded.
