Lukashenko involved in deporting Ukrainian children – Belarusian opposition activist Latushko
The Belarusian opposition has prepared a report on the involvement of self-proclaimed president Lukashenko in the abduction of Ukrainian children
This was stated on Espreso by Belarusian oppositionist Pavel Latushko.
"We have compiled a preliminary report outlining Lukashenko's involvement in the organized deportation of Ukrainian children to both Belarus and the Russian Federation. Our investigation has revealed a direct connection between Lukashenko's organizational, legal, and financial decisions and the occurrences of deportation. We have gathered substantial evidence including photographs, videos, and documentary records, clearly indicating Lukashenko's instructions regarding the transfer of Ukrainian children to Belarus and the Russian Federation," he stated.
Latushko further stated that the opposition has submitted the preliminary report from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine to several members of the Verkhovna Rada.
"We will persist in gathering and compiling information. We have conducted a comprehensive legal evaluation of all of Lukashenko's actions. The decision from PACE also validates the evidence of Ukrainian children being transported to Belarus, with a minimum of 2,000 cases confirmed. We have identified at least three locations in Belarus where Ukrainian children are being held," concluded the opposition representative.
