Lubomyr Bordun, the head of the education department of Kolomyia city council in Ivano-Frankivsk region, has died in battle with occupying Russian forces in Donetsk region.

Lubomyr Bordun went to fight from the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. A soldier in the 10th separate mountain assault brigade participated in the battles for Severodonetsk.
"Lyubomir is an extraordinary person. Thanks to his hard work, he earned authority and respect among colleagues, educators, parents and all other residents of our community. A person with a capital letter. A true professional, a great patriot, a loving father, husband and son, a good friend," - it is stated in the message of the mayor.
Lubomir was 38 years old. He has a wife and two children.
