This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petro Beshta, Ukrinform reports.
"We all remember the first Lithuanian fundraising marathon for Bayraktar in May. Also [journalist] Andrius Tapinas held a marathon in August for the purchase of kamikaze drones for Ukraine. This project is being implemented. We expect that sometime in October-November these kamikaze drones will already be in the Ukrainian army," Beshta said.
It is known that earlier the Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Arvydas Anusauskas, stated that Lithuania will purchase 37 kamikaze drones for Ukraine with the funds raised as part of the Legion of Boom campaign.
