Leak in Polish section of Druzhba oil pipeline

The leak was discovered near the town of Chodecz in Poland. The PERN service reached the damaged area and launched an investigation into the causes of the incident.
Firefighters and emergency services are also working at the scene. They have started repair work. It is expected that they will be completed on Tuesday and oil pumping will resume.
The State Fire Service in Włocławek reported that the scale of the leak was small, as the damaged part of the pipeline was cut off from the rest. PERN added that the second line of the pipeline is operating normally and that there is no threat to local residents.
