Lavrov claims to present Rubio with Ukrainian leaders’ quotes urging “destruction of Russians”

He made this statement at a press conference, a clip of which was shown by RIA Novosti.

Sergey Lavrov said that during his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio the previous day, he handed him a collection of quotes from Ukrainian leaders  "which directly refer to the need to destroy Russians legally, or better yet, physically."

Lavrov confirmed that the meeting addressed Russia’s war against Ukraine but declined to disclose details of the proposed “new approach” to resolving the war. Rubio mentioned the Russian proposal after the talks.
