Kremlin’s former political prisoner Hennadii Afanasiev is paid last respects in Kyiv

It was reported by Espreso TV channel.

The man died on December 18 in the Luhansk region, defending Ukraine from Russian forces.

Hennadii Afanasiev was detained by the Russian authorities of the Crimean peninsula in 2014. He became a defendant of a "terrorist association", which allegedly planned to carry out a series of explosions in Simferopol.
