Kremlin gives timeline for duration of 'special military operation' in Ukraine

The Russian leader's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov says that Russia will continue hostilities in Ukraine at least until the Donetsk region is under full occupation.

This is reported by the Russian media.

In this way, he answered the question whether the 'special military operation' will continue after the Russian-staged referendums in the territories occupied by Russia.

"At least, what I can tell you with absolute accuracy. You know that not all the territory of the "DPR" has been liberated. We are talking about the territory that is within the boundaries of 2014. Therefore, at a minimum, it will be necessary to liberate the entire territory of the "DNR"", Peskov said.

He added that the tasks of the Russian Federation in Ukraine may change.

"Of course, you will get a more detailed answer later, if such documents are signed," Peskov noted.
