Vasyl Kosovych, a soldier with the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade, has been killed in action fighting Russian forces. He was 38 years old.
Svitlana Zvarychevska, the Rakovets village head, shared the news, reported Espreso.West.
The fighter comes from the village of Rakovets in the Carpathian region.
"Indescribably sad news has arrived in the village of Rakovets! Our fellow villager, Vasyl Dmytrovych Kosovych, born in 1984, a soldier of the 10th brigade, was killed at the front, defending Ukraine, you and me. Let us prayerfully support the family that lost a son, husband, father, brother," Zvarychevska noted.
She also added that Vasyl Kosovych was one of the first to consciously stand up for the defense of the Motherland, served in various areas of the front and died fulfilling his civic and military duty.
