Over the past day, the invading army lost dozens of units of its equipment and 1,280 soldiers on the Russian-Ukrainian front

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022 to October 5, 2024 are approximately:
- personnel - about 659,220 (+1,280)
- tanks - 8,916 (+8)
- armored combat vehicles - 17,658 (+31)
- artillery systems - 19,037 (+72)
- MLRS - 1,216 (+4)
- air defense systems - 970 (+5)
- aircraft - 368 (+0)
- helicopters - 328 (+0)
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 16,529 (+35),
- cruise missiles - 2,613 (+0),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0)
- submarines - 1 (+0)
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 25,905 (+85)
- special equipment - 3,344 (+11).
