Russia loses 1,330 soldiers, 12 tanks and 59 artillery systems in one day of war in Ukraine

Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported the information.

Russia’s total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 16.08.24 are estimated at:

• personnel - about 595,950 (+1,330),
• tanks - 8,496 (+12),
• armored fighting vehicles - 16,461 (+35),
• artillery systems - 16,927 (+59),
• MLRS - 1,159 (+5),
• air defense systems - 922 (+0),
• aircraft - 367 (+0),
• helicopters - 328 (+0),
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 13,659 (+61),
• cruise missiles - 2,429 (+1),
• ships/boats - 28 (+0),
• submarines - 1 (+0),
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 22,848 (+73),
• special equipment - 2,829 (+16).

On the night of August 15-16, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with UAVs. Air defense forces were operating in Kyiv.
