Thus, according to Ukraine's General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.
In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region, where the Russian militants tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed 20 Russian attacks near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and 4 more settlements in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 10 hostile attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the Russian enemy, who keeps trying to surround Avdiivka. Ukraine's defenders are holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the Russian invading troops. Thus, the Defense Forces repelled 29 attacks in the area of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 16 attacks south of Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region over the past day.
In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the occupation forces near Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 26 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled two Russia's attacks near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions and repel the attacks of the occupation forces. Despite significant losses, the Russian army continues its attempts to drive Ukrainian units from their positions. Thus, over the past day, they carried out 3 unsuccessful assault operations.
At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are actively inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation troops, depleting the Russian enemy along the entire front line.
In total, the Russian Federation launched 7 missile and 35 air strikes, fired 90 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and localities. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Air strikes targeted 4 settlements in Kharkiv region, 1 in Luhansk region, 7 in Donetsk region, 1 in Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were subjected to artillery fire.
Meanwhile, over the past day, Ukraine’s missile forces struck 1 area of Russian personnel concentration, 2 control points and 3 ammunition depots.
On the night of February 6, the occupation forces attacked Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, Kharkiv region. Three people were rescued, and one more was trapped in the rubble.
