Russia loses 1,200 soldiers, 27 artillery systems and 21 UAVs in one day of war in Ukraine

Russia’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to August 29, 2024, are approximately:

• personnel - about 612,390 (+1,200),
• tanks - 8,571 (+3),
• armored fighting vehicles - 16,699 (+18),
• artillery systems - 17,549 (+27),
• MLRS - 1,174 (+0),
• air defense systems - 939 (+1),
• aircraft - 368 (+0),
• helicopters - 328 (+0),
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 14,369 (+21),
• cruise missiles - 2,556 (+3),
• ships/boats - 28 (+0),
• submarines - 1 (+0),
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 23,706 (+52),
• special equipment - 2,965 (+15).
