Throughout 2025, Russia lost over 418,000 servicemen, dozens of aircraft and helicopters, and thousands of units of weapons and equipment

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.
The Russian army's losses for 2025 include:
- personnel – 418,170 in killed and wounded;
- tanks – 1,816;
- armored combat vehicles – 3,806;
- artillery systems – 14,146;
- MLRS – 331;
- air defense systems – 234;
- aircraft – 65;
- helicopters – 17;
- tactical-level UAVs – 77,322;
- cruise missiles – 1,133;
- submarines – 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 39,743;
- special equipment – 363.
"Every destroyed invader, every burned tank brings us closer to a just peace. We thank everyone for their professional combat work," summarized the General Staff.
On December 31, 2025, the Russian army lost at least 1,060 military personnel. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 36 artillery systems and 7 enemy tanks.
