Russia attacks Kherson wounding three people, causing damage
On the morning of April 5, the Russian occupation army attacked Kherson. As a result, three people were injured and apartments were damaged
The head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko reported this.
"About an hour ago, the Russian army from the temporarily occupied left bank attacked residential areas in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson," the statement said.
It is noted that two people were injured in the Russian attack. A 60-year-old man was diagnosed with explosive and closed head injuries, contusion, and a cut wound of the left temporal region. A 54-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wound to her right forearm.
The two victims are currently in hospital. Their condition is assessed as moderate.
Later, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office clarified that the occupiers had launched an artillery strike around 08:10.
"The invaders' shell hit the yard of an apartment building. As a result, the residents were trapped in the blocked entrance," the prosecutor's office said.
Later, Mrochko reported another shelling of Dniprovsky district of the city. As a result, an 81-year-old woman was injured.
"She has an explosive and closed head injury, contusion, and a shrapnel wound to the parietal region. She is in moderate condition. She received medical aid," added Mrochko.

On the night of April 5, the Russian army shelled the private sector in the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region. Five civilians, including a 14-year-old teenager, were wounded in the attack.
