Large-scale fire breaks out in Kherson due to Russian attacks, entire city in smoke
On the night of August 10, the Russian occupation army attacked the suburbs of Kherson. The fire broke out in an open area outside the city. Due to strong winds, the smoke spread quickly, covering almost the entire Kherson
This was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration.
"Due to strong winds, the smoke spread quickly, covering almost the entire city of Kherson. Firefighters are making every effort to extinguish the fire," the statement said.
It is noted that the situation is complicated by the high probability that the areas where the fire is spreading may not yet be demined.
The administration recommends closing the windows at home and not going outside. Those who have an air purifier should turn it on to the maximum setting. It is advisable to wear protective masks during heavy smoke and drink plenty of water - up to 2-3 liters per day.
Kherson media, citing local residents, reports that there is a smoke screen over the city. The whole city is covered in smoke and there is an unpleasant smell.
