Russia launches strikes on Kharkiv, shells villages in region, killing woman
The Russian army launched an attack on Kharkiv using guided aerial bombs, injuring a woman. The occupying army also shelled villages in the region, resulting in one dead and several injured
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, shared the information on June 19.
According to him, the Russian forces fired three guided aerial bombs into the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.
"Two bombs landed near a children's camp and one near a residential building, causing damage," he stated.
As of 17:35, Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed one woman injured by the attacks.
Shelling of Kharkiv region
Further shelling incidents were reported in the Kharkiv and Kupiansk districts on June 19, according to Oleh Syniehubov.
In the village of Vilkhivka, Kharkiv district, a 49-year-old woman was killed, and a 60-year-old man was injured around 15:36 due to shelling. Two women in Novooosynove village, Kupiansk district, were injured and hospitalized.
- On June 10, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv three times with guided aerial bombs. A fire broke out in a garage cooperative, and there are reports of injuries. Private houses were damaged, there may be people under the rubble.
