On Tuesday, January 2, Russian terrorists attacked Kharkiv with foreign-made missiles. Ukrainian investigators are trying to establish their origin

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this during a briefing.

"We are conducting all the necessary research to establish the country of origin. I will say in advance that the markings on these missiles have been erased. However, what we can see is that the producing country is not the Russian Federation," Sinegubov said.

"The purpose of the investigation is to verify the version that the missiles were manufactured outside Russia. The information obtained during the additional inspection will be provided to experts for a comprehensive forensic explosive and military examination," the statement said.

The inspection was carried out by regional prosecutors, police investigators, SBU officers and employees of the Air Force Science Center of the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University.
