Russia attacks civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv

On the morning of Tuesday, March 26, Russian occupation forces struck at civilian infrastructure in one of the districts of Kharkiv

This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov.

At 11:40 a.m., he reported a "hit" in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city. 

Later, it was reported that the strike hit a residential area of Kharkiv.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, also confirmed that the Russians had struck civilian residential infrastructure in Kharkiv. 

"A hit was recorded in Shevchenkivskyi district. There is no information about the victims at the moment. The relevant services are inspecting the site," he added.

Terekhov later clarified that the attack damaged a non-residential building in Kharkiv, with windows shattered in a nearby multi-story building. According to him, fortunately, there were no injuries or deaths.

Russian attacks on Kharkiv

Kharkiv is under Russian fire almost every day. Last night, enemy drones attacked the city.  According to local authorities, one of the drones landed in the ground near an uninhabited building. There were no casualties, only broken windows in the building along with a crater from the explosion. 

Later, it was reported that at least eight Russian drones were shot down over Kharkiv region by the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces at night.

On March 22, the Russian forces bombarded Ukraine with missiles. The Kharkiv region suffered the most destruction - it was attacked by 21 missiles. As a result of the attacks, the city lost electricity and water supply.
