Kellogg holds unique niche few others can fill — political scientist
The U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, could serve as a communicator between the U.S. military-industrial sector, the Pentagon, the General Staff, and the White House
Political analyst Oleh Saakyan shared his opinions in an interview with Espreso TV.
“Kellogg is the U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine, but as a representative for the Russian-Ukrainian war specifically, he didn’t last long — he was quickly sidelined,” the expert said. “Still, he’s a military man, a general, and he clearly understands these issues. He has a strong team of experts, and I can say that with confidence.”
According to political analyst Saakyan, Kellogg could serve as a key link between the U.S. military-industrial complex, the Pentagon, the General Staff, and the White House.
“This is a unique role that he’s almost exclusively suited for. Yes, others could do it, but not many,” Saakyan added. “That’s why during his week-long visit to Ukraine, he told one journalist that he didn’t even have time for breakfast. His schedule is packed, mostly with meetings related to defense.”
