Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported the information.
"A group of cars with Kadyrov's fighters and Russian soldiers (not part of the Kadyrov group) gathered in the Kirov area (at the intersection of Shevchenko Boulevard and Metalurhiv Avenue). All of them are military. There is a lot of noise and shots. Over the past half hour, the number of cars in the photo has increased by about 20 units," said Andriushchenko.
Russian forces called a special unit to contain the conflict.
"But something is going wrong (well, it is going well, but not according to Russian plans). Grab some popcorn, today Russians will attack Russians. Retaliation has emerged from an unexpected source," emphasizes the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.
On August 18, Petro Andriushchenko reported that in the area of temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russian troops were retreating and building the first serious line of defense.
