Kadyrov may lead Russian Guard - Russian media

This was reported by several Russian media at once.

"Indeed, the transfer of Kadyrov to a leadership position in the Russian Guard is being discussed - with the aim that in the future he will replace the head of the department, Viktor Zolotov," Verstka informs, citing its own sources in the Russian Ministry of Defense and the upper house of the Russian Parliament. 

At the same time, instead of Kadyrov, Chechnya will be headed by his closest protege, deputy of Russia's State Duma, Adam Delimkhanov. Kadyrov calls him his 'brother'.

Delimkhanov, it should be emphasized, is directly involved in the February 24 armed invasion of Ukraine. He was responsible for the battles in Mariupol.

Meduza reports that Kadyrov may take a 'leading position' in the Russian Guard.

Kadyrov's appointment to the Russian Guard in the Kremlin, according to the opposition Russian media Mozhem Obyasnit, will be explained as follows:

"Allegedly, after the 'referendums' in the DPR, LPR, and other annexed (Ukrainian - Ed.) regions, a new stage of 'special operation' will begin, and this time Russia will be able to officially enter the war to defend its 'new territories'."
