Ivano-Frankivsk Territorial Defense Forces capture Russian Guards during counteroffensive in Kharkiv region
Fighters with Ukraine's 102nd Detached Brigade, Ivano-Frankivsk Territorial Defense Forces, have captured servicemen with the Russian Guard during counteroffensive operations in the Kharkiv region
This was announced on the brigade's Facebook page, Espreso.West reports.
Ukrainian soldiers captured the Russian invaders after several hours of shooting.
"During the offensive operation in the Kharkiv region, as a result of several hours of shooting battles, the Ukrainian fighters with the 102nd Detached Brigade captured soldiers with the Russian Guard," the message reads.
The invaders put up fierce resistance, but were defeated, the fighters said.
After the battle, the Ukrainian military provided primary medical care to the captured Russian occupiers.
For reference. The 102nd Detached Territorial Defense Brigade is a staff formation of Ukraine's Territorial Defense Forces in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The brigade is part of the operational command West.
