This was reported by the Ansa agency with reference to the statement of the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto.
“The only thing that we cannot do at such a complex time like the one we are experiencing is to lose contact with our international allies, the EU and the Atlantic alliance. So there is only one way to act and decide. If the situation in Ukraine does not change, there will be a sixth decree to send new military aid,” he said.
According to Italy's defense minister, this move would be in line with Meloni's assurances to NATO and EU allies that her new administration would not disrupt ties with the rest of the West regarding Ukraine.
