Italian Prime Minister Meloni arrives in Kyiv

Meloni arrived in Kyiv by train. This is her first visit to Ukraine since becoming head of government. She plans to visit Bucha and Irpin and meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. 

"I believe that it was necessary to be here to convey the position of the Italian government, to personally understand and see with my own eyes what this people, who are struggling for their freedom, need. I want to help Italians understand what is happening here," Meloni said.
