Italian foundation delivers EUR 500,000 for Bucha reconstruction
The Italian humanitarian organization Cesvi, which specialises in crisis response, has delivered the first EUR 500,000 it raised for the reconstruction of Bucha, a city in Kyiv region that has suffered heavily during the war and under Russian occupation.
Cesvi shares an update about this agreement on its website.
Under the agreement, the first tranche of aid will be used to restore public and communal infrastructure, housing, parks, and vital resources such as first responder vehicles (fire, ambulance) and public transport.
The foundation receives charitable contributions from private and public donors, especially Bergamo municipality in Italy where its headquarters are located. These partners will also play an active role in supporting the reconstruction of Bucha.
