"Latvian telecommunications companies LMT and TET, with the support of the Latvian NGO Entrepreneurs for Peace, donated 300 laptops to scale the SAP logistics system. This equipment will help to keep records of supplies in another 150 military units," the statement said.
The Ministry of Defense also said that during the 17th Ramstein meeting, which took place on 22 November, Estonia announced its first contribution to the IT coalition in the amount of EUR 500,000. Prior to that, Luxembourg allocated EUR 10 million.
During the meeting, Estonia became the seventh country to join the IT Coalition.
For reference. The IT Coalition is a special group of states within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group. It is led by Estonia and Luxembourg and focuses on providing support to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of IT, communications, and cybersecurity.
At the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on September 19, Estonia, Luxembourg and Ukraine launched an IT Coalition to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the cyber domain. At the presentation event of the IT Coalition, Belgium, Lithuania and Denmark also signed a Declaration of Intent.
