Israel attacks Syrian air base used by Russian forces

The publication stated that Israel attacked the Shayrat air base in Syria's Homs province with missiles, killing 2 soldiers and injuring 3 others.

The missiles hit the runway of the air base, which was recently used by the Iranian air force.

Reuters also adds that the runway and underground facilities in Shayrat, including aircraft shelters, have been used and developed by the Russian military for the past three years.
