Iran's president accuses Israel of crossing "red lines"

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated that Israel's actions have exceeded what is considered acceptable, potentially prompting collective action

He made the statement on Twitter (X).

Raisi's statement read, "Zionist regime’s crimes have crossed the red lines, which may force everyone to take action."

The Iranian president also claimed that the US had asked Iran "not to do anything" while continuing to offer extensive support to Israel.

He further stated, "The US sent messages to the Axis of Resistance but received a clear response on the battlefield."

Note: The "Axis of Resistance" comprises Iranian-backed groups in the Middle East, including Hamas, which attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, leading to ongoing hostilities.
