Iran's Defense Ministry has confirmed drone attacks on one of its munitions production centers

“On the evening of January 28, 2023, at about 23:30, an unsuccessful attack was launched using drones against one of the centers of the Ministry of Defense,” the ministry said in a statement. “One of them was shot down by an air defense system, and the other two fell into defense traps and exploded.”
“The loud sound heard this morning on Imam Khomeini Street in Isfahan was caused by an explosion in a military center belonging to the Ministry of Defense,” Ahmad Jan Nisary, a representative of the Isfahan provincial government in charge of security, political and social affairs, told the agency.
