Iranian foreign minister calls for diplomatic settlement of Ukraine war at meeting with Lavrov
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who is on a visit to Moscow, said that a diplomatic settlement of the war in Ukraine is needed

He made the statement on March 29 at a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.
According to the Iranian diplomat, the West's supply of weapons to Ukraine complicates the situation.
"The fact that the West is arming Ukraine with various weapons, we believe, complicates the situation. We have always believed that we should rely on a political settlement of this issue," Amir Abdollahian told Lavrov.
He did not mention Iranian arms supplies to Russia.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported that Russia was helping Iran with cyber weapons in exchange for Shahed drones.
