Iran responds to Ukraine’s warning regarding supplying Russia with weapons
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarded the statement of Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba as "emotional" and called on Ukraine to negotiate.
RBC-Ukraine news agency reported the news citing a post on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
The post reads that Nasser Kanaani, Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasis the active neutrality of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards the war in Ukraine and says that “emotional statements and unsubstantiated accusations will not help to solve the crisis in Ukraine.”
“Instead of projecting and making false accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the authorities of this country should respond to the constructive suggestions of our country to hold a bilateral technical and expert meeting in order to provide documentation of their claims,” Kanaani states.
Kanaani once again strongly denied supplying Russia with any weapons and equipment to be used in the war against Ukraine.
Earlier, Dmytro Kuleba warned Iran about the consequences that will follow in case Iran making a decision to support Russia. He stated that Ukraine will be ruthless in its response.
